Through the eyes of a child

A LESSON FOR US THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD:

”Dear Allah,
Assalamualaikum 🙂

I am Mubeen Ahmad from I-B, Roll no. 14.
How are you Allah?
My teacher says you made me. Thank you for making me Allah. Oh i meen jazakallah 🙂
She said u like to hear Inshallah Mashallah and Jazakallah.

Teacher says that if there is anything i want, i should ask you and if i have any complaint i should tell you.

Last week na Allah, i cried a lot
You know why?
Because Saba Chachi pushed Maa (grandma) on the floor. Maa was crying so much! I don’t like when maa cries. When she cries, even i cry. I went to Ammi to tell that Saba chachi is not nice. She is pushing maa and also shouting on her. She is making her cry. Toh Ammi told me not to tell anyone.
Why shouldn’t i tell anyone Allah?

My Abbu and my Chachu don’t take care of Maa. They call her a burden when she is not around.
What is a burden Allah?
I don’t understand their talks but they don’t smile when the talk to Maa.

When Dada (grandpa) was there know, evrybody was happy. Every body loved Maa and everybody used to be so nice. When Dada went to meet u na, everybody tells Maa that y didn’t she go with Dada.
Will you call her also to meet you?

Abbu and Ammi tell used to me that she will be soon going to meet you. And they dont let me play with her. I love playing with Maa Allah, she gets happy when she plays with me. Or else she always keeps crying.
I don’t like when maa cries Allah.

That day, when we went for a picnic, Maa didn’t come with us.
I asked Ammi, she said that Maa didnt want to come. ‘Maa used to love to come for a picnic’ i remembered. So that night when everyone was asleep, i went to Maa to ask her why didnt she come. She said she was not well because of not eating. When we went to the picnic, nobody was here to give her food. And ammi also didnt make anything for her from before.
The next day i told Ammi that Maa is not well. So she shouted at me and told not to go to her again..

Then u know Allah, the next day they took her away. I searched for her everywhere but i couldnt find her. I thought may be they have taken her to the doctor to make her well. But in the night they brought her back. She was sleeping. I looked at her. She didnt move. I asked ammi what happened. She said Maa died.

I know what it means Allah. Our teacher said that the ones who die go to You, and then in Jannah you will give them sweet milk.
Even i want to have that sweet milk Allah. With Maa and Dada.
Allah, keep them happy there. Don’t let them cry. Give them nice fruits and dates of the trees of Jannah..
And when i die and come to you, keep me with Maa and Dada. I will be a very good boy Allah promise. I will pray and sleep saying ‘allahumma bismika amutu wa ahiyya’ and also eat on the floor and not on the table.
I will wear short pant and sleep on right.
You will give me Jannat na?
Thankyou Allah!
I love you 🙂
Feeamanillah..”

Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, say not “Fie” unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word. (23) And lower unto them the wing of submission through mercy, and say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was little. (24)
(Quran – Surah Al-Isra 14:23-24)

    Assalamu Alaikum.
Even though it is doubtful that a grade 1 child could have written this piece, still the letter with its plea carries meaning. There are people who ill-treat their parents even, not to speak of grandparents!
The Prophet (sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam) said: ‘The one who doesn’t show mercy to our young ones and doesn’t honour and respect our elders, do not belong to us (meaning, they are out of the true deen of Islam).”.
    Jazakillahu Khayra for this reminder.

Aww this is so cute. I use to talk to Allah the same way…like He is my friend. May be if I think He is my friend, He becomes. As He says “Tum jesa gumaan kero gay Allah ko wesa he pao gay ” Loved reading this post. So cute 🙂
