For the sake of Allah

‎”Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do well to him who does evil to you; and speak the truth even if it be against yourself” – (Prophet Muhammad, PBUH)

“If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years building, others could destroy overnight.
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
You see, in the end, it is between you and God;
it was never between you and them anyway.”

I’d received this forward on my cell once and I just loved it! Our entire life we do a good thing and stop mid way because someone somewhere didnt approve of it. Why do we even care, if we know our action is right in the eyes of Allah(SWT), the creator of the universe, why do we need an approval from his creations?!

Someone is jealous of you and it spoiled your day, someone who you care about, hates you for wrong reasons and hurts your heart, someone somewhere did something extremely bad to you, and you go into depression, while that person doesn’t even care!

If there is someone who genuinely cares for you, from the time you were given life in your mother’s womb to the time your heart would stop beating, it is Allah, the Almighty.

So, turn to Him, forgive those who hurt you, forget what they tell against you, continue your good deeds for the sake Allah, because … He loves you, like ALOT!!

And like Steve Jobs said,

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
